Float & Rod for 150 & 157 Series 347600 by MCDONNELL & MILLER This float and rod assembly is specifically designed for use with McDonnell & Miller 150 and 157 series liquid level controls. It is used to provide a visual indication of the liquid level and to actuate the switch when the liquid level reaches a predetermined point. The float is made of durable plastic and is designed to float on the surface of the liquid. The rod is made of stainless steel and is attached to the float. The rod extends through a hole in the top of the control and is connected to the switch. When the liquid level rises, the float will rise with it, causing the rod to move. This movement will actuate the switch, which will then open or close a circuit to control the flow of liquid.
