Remote Bulb High Limit Aquastat With Manual Reset 110-270F 5-1/2' Cap. [sku] by Honeywell Residential. This high-limit aquastat is designed to protect water heaters and boilers from overheating. It features a remote bulb sensor that is inserted into the water tank or boiler, and a control unit that is mounted outside of the tank or boiler. The control unit monitors the temperature of the water and shuts off the heating element if the temperature exceeds the set point. The set point is adjustable from 110-270 degrees Fahrenheit (43-132 degrees Celsius). The aquastat also has a manual reset button that must be pressed to restart the heating element after it has been shut off. The aquastat is made of durable materials and is designed to withstand the harsh conditions of a water heater or boiler room.
