    Fast Shipping. Fair Price. Product needs material change.

What I've found over time, the...read moreThe Danfoss draft controller works well, but, this one was a replacement for the same Danfoss product, and its the 3rd one I've had. What I've found over time, the aluminum housing screws into a steel fitting that screws into the boiler water jacket. Over time, the heating and cooling causes the aluminum threads to fail. When they do, the spring inside can/will push the top up and its impossible to screw the two pieces back together. -- I have an old draft controller with a brass half that screws into the water jacket. It has worked correctly for years. (I found it after this Danfoss controller was ordered). The original controller was only replaced by a Danfoss, because there was a question about the thermostat in it working correctly. Put back in it operates fine. -- If I ever need to replace it, I will use the new Danfoss controller, until I find a better replacement. After this order I did locate other controllers that appear to have no quality issues (aluminum into steel). In short, the Danfoss works, you will get 2-4 years out it, then the threads will fail.

    Amazing! Made a huge difference in our plant's control system response time. Tricky to install, yet absolutely irreplaceable. Great product!
