Description
The V46 is a pressure actuated modulating valve that is suitable for use either on closed or open systems. Direct acting valves open on pressure increase. This type of valve is primarily used to regulate the flow of water or glycol to a water cooled condenser on a refrigeration system. Perfect for open and closed systems
The Johnson Controls Commercial water regulating valve is perfect both for open and closed systems. You can regulate the flow of water and glycol in pipelines and other expensive water passing equipment. You will have it mounted on the refrigeration systems where the function of condensers is of premium importance. All parts are moving freely so that pressure modulation is done smoothly. The connection to the electrical part of the system is done with the same power supply. Less energy is consumed compared to traditional systems.
Good for most water heating systems
This is a great regulating valve for systems that may exceed the operating pressure. Especially helpful to water heating systems, like the solar heaters since the valves may open and diminish the threat of blowing up from steam pressure in case the thermostat is corrupted. This valve is made from copper, so it is not recommended to use it in systems of drinking water. It can withstand any hydraulic shock without any damage to the body parts.
