Application

PKRXUP-MFT-T is a mechanical valve actuator for the regulation of fluid flow. Valve actuators in Belimo’s PR Series have comprehensible visual position indicators and integrated linkage. PKRXUP-MFT-T must be mounted directly under the valve for indoor applications or at or above horizontal if you install it outdoors.

Default/Configuration

The electrical DC motors in the PKRXUP-MFT-T valve actuator operate under 10 V by default. You can change these parameters in a number of ways:

• By factory pre-set
• Using Belimo’s ZTH US programming tool
• With a Belimo application on smartphones that support NFC programming

Operation

• The PKRXUP-MFT-T valve actuator can be powered with a universal power supply (voltage range of AC 24 to 240 V or DC from 24 to 125 V).
• Provides 90 degrees angle of rotation.
• A visual indicator shows the precise position of the valve.
• Has a brushless DC motor with optimized energy consumption.
• The device has a safeguard mechanism for protection against overload.
• Two auxiliary switches (switch with a 10 degrees opening and switch with adjustable settings).
• All PR series actuators come with a built-in thermostat and a smart heater that effectively eliminates condensation.
• Durable construction and NEMA 4X enclosure rating make this device long-lasting and virtually maintenance-free.
• The running time (motor) is set at 35 seconds at default but can be easily adjusted with an NFC-supported smartphone via a Belimo app.
• You can use a flexible metal conduit or a copper wire size ranging from 12 to 28 AWG to connect the valve actuator’s cable to the conduit fitting device.
