It is designed for use with chilled water and hot water systems. The valve has a bronze body, stainless steel trim, and a Buna-N seat. It is rated for a maximum pressure of 150 psi and a maximum temperature of 250 degrees Fahrenheit. The valve is actuated by a solenoid that is powered by a 24-volt AC power source. The valve is normally closed, but when the solenoid is energized, the valve opens. The valve is used to control the flow of water in a system.
