The switch features a 1.25" NPT connection, a nickel-plated brass body, and a normally closed (N/C) contact configuration. The switch is actuated by a diaphragm that senses the pressure of the medium in the pipeline. When the pressure reaches the set point, the diaphragm moves, causing the contacts to open or close. The switch has an adjustable set point range of 5 to 120 psi and an operating temperature range of -40 to 180Â°F.
