OVERLOAD KIT for Tecumseh K90-157 Compressors This Tecumseh overload kit includes the following items: - Overload Relay - Overcurrent Release - Bimetallic Strip - Reset Button - Mounting Bracket - Wiring Diagram This kit is designed to protect the compressor from electrical damage in the event of an overload. The overload relay monitors the current flowing through the compressor and will trip if the current exceeds a set limit. The overcurrent release is a mechanical device that will also trip if the current exceeds a set limit. The bimetallic strip is a temperature-sensitive device that will trip if the temperature of the compressor exceeds a set limit. The reset button allows the overload relay to be reset after it has tripped. The mounting bracket is used to mount the overload kit to the compressor.
