R22 2-ton Copeland Comfort Control (Alco) TXV with 3/8 x 3/8-1/2 SAEANG connections. Thermostatic expansion valves regulate the flow of refrigerant into the evaporator coil by sensing the temperature of the refrigerant in the evaporator outlet line. This helps maintain the desired superheat and prevent flooding of the evaporator coil. The TXV is calibrated for use with R22 refrigerant and has a capacity of 2 tons.
