This Sporlan Controls NCO-169401 is a thermostatic expansion valve suitable for R404A refrigerant and has a 1/6 Ton capacity with a 30" external equalizer. Thermostatic expansion valves control the flow of liquid refrigerant into an evaporator and maintain a constant superheat at the evaporator outlet by sensing the temperature and adjusting the position of the valve accordingly.
