Sump Pumps and Ejector Systems

In residential basements and commercial facilities, sump pumps push excess groundwater up and out of a building through a discharge pipe. A check valve is installed directly on this discharge line. Its primary benefit is preventing the water just pumped out from flowing backward down the pipe and refilling the sump pit when the pump turns off.
