    Homeline miniature circuit breakers are engineered and designed for fast installation and superior circuit protection. Homeline circuit breakers are designed to plug into Homeline load centers to provide circuit protection. The HOMT circuit breaker is two tandem 2 pole thermal magnetic circuit breakers manufactured in tandem. This quad tandem breaker occupies two HOM pole spaces. This quad tandem circuit breaker consists of a two pole breaker and a two pole breaker. This quad tandem circuit breaker provides a standard circuit protection and is HACR rated. One of the two pole breaker is rated 30A at 120/240 VAC and other two pole breaker is rated 50A at 120/240 VAC. This circuit breaker provides 10 kA breaking capacity. The 30A two pole breaker of this quad tandem breaker will accept 14 AWG to 8 AWG copper or aluminum wire. The 50A two pole breaker of this quad tandem breaker will accept 14 AWG to 6 AWG copper or aluminum wire. The tandem breaker is 3.13 inches tall, 2.00 inches wide and 2.98 inches deep. HOMT tandem breakers are UL Listed.

We exclusively use Square D equipment, including their line of breakers, in all our properties because of their proven solid performance and strict quality control standards. The Square D HOM2302S breaker installed smoothly, trip settings were consistent, and we have had zero issues over the several years since installation. Though higher in upfront cost, the peace of mind and avoidance of failures or equipment damage make Square D breakers well worth the investment in the long run for us. Where electrical infrastructure is concerned, quality should be the top priority. This breaker delivers.

    Does the Job, Pricey Though

The breaker is well-made, installed easily, and operated smoothly....read moreWe needed to add a couple new circuits in our warehouse and installed this Square D breaker in an existing panelboard. The breaker is well-made, installed easily, and operated smoothly. No issues there at all. However, it does seem to command a premium price compared to comparable breakers from other brands. For a rather basic component, the cost adds up significantly if you need to add or upgrade multiple circuits. So, while I appreciate the quality, I'm not sure the added cost is justified for such a utilitarian product. For casual DIY use in an emergency it would be fine, but not the most budget-friendly choice if you require a large quantity.
