Proper hose installation is essential for satisfactory performance. Once you select the proper hose and couplings, you can then make the assembly. There are two types of assemblies you can make: permanent crimped or field attachable. Components, equipment and procedures vary for all types. However, measuring, cutting procedures and fitting orientation are the same. When cutting any hose, keep the cut as straight as possible and square with the side of the hose. Parker offers three hose cut-off tools:

Push-Lok Cut-Off & Assembly Tool:
This unique tool combines a hose cutter with a toggle-action that presses the fitting into the hose. Designed to handle Push-Lok hose from 1/4" through 3/4", this tool makes the job easier whether you are making one assembly or a hundred. The Push-Lok Cut-Off & Assembly Tool is 16” long with a weight of 4 lbs.

Hose Cut-Off Tool:
Parker Hose Cut-Off Tool is designed for precise, quick, and easy cutting of ¼” to ¾” Push-Lok hose.  The Hose Cut-Off Tool is 8” long and 0.3 lbs.  

Handycut - Hose Cut-Off Tool:
Handykut is a portable tool designed for efficient cutting of hose. Once Handykut is positioned onto a flat surface by clamps or by locking it in a vise, properly align the hose in a radius and cut it with a hacksaw. The Handykut is 6” wide by 18” long by 6” high with a weight of 10 lbs.
