All current network-ready VT7000 Series Room Controllers are capable of being retrofitted in the field with accessory communication modules. This enables the controllers to be integrated into virtually all leading building automation systems. This approach provides the flexibility to add network communication strategies as budgets allow, or as building management needs change. VCM7000 Series communication modules offer BACnet (B), Echelon (E) and two different types of wireless options.

Wireless Options

ZigBee Pro extended profile (P)

•  Current generation of ZigBee Pro 
• Makes VT7000 Series products compatible with SmartStruxure™ Lite solution’s StruxureWare™ Building Expert 
• Building Expert versions offer a fixed Home Automation profile view of the controller and its’ objects. Building Expert and subsequent versions offer an extended object profile view of the controller and its’ objects
• Building Expert 2.7 and subsequent versions can be integrated into SmartStruxure solution and other building management systems

• Proprietary version of ZigBee not compatible with SmartStruxure Lite solution
• Used for wireless communication with Central Managers and Zoning Systems 
• Combined with VWG50 BACnet, the VT7000 Series Room Controllers can be wirelessly integrated to SmartStruxure solution and other building management systems 
• Combined with the VWG-APP-1045 communication card, the VT7000 Series Room Controllers can be wirelessly integrated to an Niagrara powered Jace2, Jace6, or Jace7 systems
