Description

Sensors are the basic building blocks when it comes to improving building security, occupant comfort, and energy efficiency. Facility managers can receive an alert when a door or window has been opened or left open. This information can be used to save energy (when installed on refrigerator doors, for example) and enhance the security of the building (back door, etc.). The sensors can also alert facility managers to zones where a door or window has been opened to ensure the most efficient use of HVAC systems. The wireless door/window sensor is easy to install and communicates with the SE8000 room controller using the latest ZigBee protocol for faster response times and more accurate inputs for each zone. And it can be integrated into Building Management Systems for overall building supervision. It is ideal for offices, hotels, schools, dormitories, military barracks, and other similar facilities.
