Built-In Safety

The S8610U is built for safety for you and your customers. It provides 100% pilot gas shutoff if the pilot fails to light, with a 90-second maximum lockout for added safety. After a sixminute delay, trial for ignition is repeated. This multi-trial ignition sequence continues until the appliance lights or the call for heat has been removed, helping to eliminate nuisance callbacks
